How to set up IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV
Samsung Smart TVs run Tizen, and you can watch Nagare on them through an IPTV player app installed from the TV's own app store. Here is the whole process, plus fixes for the problems people run into most.
Check your TV first
Most Samsung TVs sold since 2017 run Tizen and have a well-stocked app store. Very old models offer fewer apps and can feel slow with large channel lists. If your TV is older, a FireStick or Android TV box plugged into the HDMI port is often the easier route.
Connect the TV to the internet and make sure its software is up to date: Settings, then Support, then Software Update.
Install an IPTV player
Nagare does not make these apps. Some are free, others charge a small fee or offer a trial. Read the reviews and the app's own terms before you pay for one.
- Press the Home button and open Apps.
- Use the search icon to look for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes login (the app description usually mentions "Xtream" or "username and password").
- Select the app and choose Install.
- Open the app once the installation has finished.
Log in with your Nagare details
- In the app, choose the Xtream Codes login option.
- Enter the server address including http:// and the port, for example http://server-address:8080, exactly as we sent it.
- Enter your username and password. They are case-sensitive.
- Save. The channel list, movies and series load after a short wait.
Tips for a better picture
- Use a network cable if the router is close to the TV. It is more stable than Wi-Fi.
- On Wi-Fi, connect the TV to the 5 GHz network if your router has one.
- Turn off picture "motion" effects if fast sport looks unnatural.
- Restart the TV fully (unplug it for 30 seconds) if the app becomes slow after a long time.
Common problems
- The app says the login failed: check the server address format, the port and the spelling of your username and password.
- Channels load but stutter: test your internet speed on the TV itself and try a cable.
- The app is not in the store: your TV model may be too old for it. Try another Xtream Codes player or an external streaming device.
